About Me

 My name is Laura Tate.  I am a born and raised Texan currently living in Georgetown.  I graduated from Rockwall High School in 2000, and from the Business and Economics department at Southwestern University in 2004 where I received my Bachelor of Arts.  My father, Mark Riaboy, is an optometrist in Dallas. My mother, Pat, assists him full-time.  I have a brother, Jeff, who is 2 years younger than me and is a computer programmer.  I married my husband, Jacob, in November, 2003.

Daddy's Little Girl

In high school I danced as a Stingerette – the drill team for Rockwall High.  Every year we performed a spring show which was a collection of all the routines we learned throughout the year.  It was tradition for the Senior Fathers to escort their daughters across the stage one last time.  This picture was taken with my dad after my last performance as a Stingerette .

My Family

In high school, my mother and I were part of a philanthropic organization known as National Charity League.  An annual event occured where the Seniors of the organization were presented.  This picture was taken during my Senior Presentation.  From Left: Brother - Jeffrey, Mom - Patricia, Me, Dad - Mark, and Grandpa - Edward.

Jake and Me

My husband, Jacob, is a scout for the United States Army.  He is stationed at Fort Hood, is a soldier in 1-12 Cav, and is currently serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom II. Follow this link to see pictures of our wedding.

My Puppy

Andy is a Spaniel-Maltese-Chow.  He is about four years old and was a Christmas present from Jacob.
